Our "No Fee to Buyers" Policy
At ahundredlocations.com, we do not charge buyers. Simple.
Our fee comes from a percentage of the proceeds which the agent we connect you with receives at the time of the sale of a property they find for you. We only receive compensation for referring you to the agent if and when you purchase a property. We work out our fee agreement in advance with the agents, so you do not have to worry about paying for our services.
Simply stated:
-- we do not charge buyers
-- our fee comes from a split percentage of commission from the sale of a home
-- our fee is paid by the buyer's or seller's real estate agent at closing of the home
If you are selling your house as well as buying another home (or just simply selling), our fee comes from a percentage of the amount you as seller pay to the selling agent we find you. This is called the selling agent's "commission." We will work out a fee agreement for our fee with your agent in advance, so you do not have to worry about paying us directly.
The amount an agent receives is negotiable and your agent should always discuss up front with you his or her commission rates. Typically, real estate commission is 5-6% of the sale price, which is then split between the agent who lists your home for sale and the agent who procures (finds a ready, willing, and able buyer) a buyer for your home.
